Asus Eee PC T91SA-VU1X-BK 8.9-Inch Intel Atom Netbook Computer (Black) Price

I was initially a bit weary about purchasing a tablet this size and at this price with XP but I decided to take a chance. The 1st time I used the T91 I was very pleased with the responsiveness and accuracy of the touch screen. The unit is quite light and very useful in portrait mode. Before I list the pro’s and cons I will say that the only way you will get any enjoyment out of this machine is by loading windows 7 or xp tablet edition. The touchgate software provided is pretty useless, no support for inking in MS office, no journalling software, difficult device drivers and alot of lag in XP. I was pretty disappointed at this point with xp but after I booted windows 7 professional it all changed for me. Inking support and no lag at all. The unit actually runs a whole lot quicker with windows 7 loaded. The ink input and on screen keyboard (even at logon) is priceless. In the preloaded xp its very difficult to navigate using the stylus alone. Battery life is at least 4 hours which is really useful, sometimes even 5. I cant think of any cons, my only recommendation is maybe if you need a little extra speed go for the 2gb dimm, but even without it its quite snappy with win 7. The T91MT is a better choice with win 7 already preloaded. The size and weight are also fantastic, perfect size for your palm and very readable especially in portrait mode. You might have some software niggles but the asus forums are quite useful as no doubt someone has had the same issue before you. Two thumbs up!

Asus Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X-BU 10.1-Inch Intel Atom Netbook Computer (Royal Blue) Price

I bought this netbook based on battery life as reported by its owners and the Asus EEE PC 1005HA did not disappoint. I bought the PU1X version around October of 2009 from Amazon and have been using it primarily as an eBook/eComic reader and multimedia player.

Pros:
-awesome battery life: 9hrs (reading) / 6-7hrs (watching vids);
-great screen;
-good after-service/warranty (see below);
-decent keyboard layout: okay for blogging or documentation (after a short adjustment period… though definitely not for folks with big hands);

Cons:
-weak speakers (even at maximum, my Nokia 5800 phone was louder);
-keyboard problems (see below);

WARNING: –for owners of this netbook & prospective buyers–
After a more than half a year of use, I began having problems with the keyboard. It started with the [Backspace] key not working then [rightShift]+[P] combination did nothing. What was odd was that [leftShift]+[P] worked so I initially thought it was a software issue. Looking online, I didn’t find anything so I decided to live with it (at the time I was quite busy).

ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1001P-PU17-WT 10.1-Inch White Netbook (Up to 11 Hours of Battery Life) Price

There are many in depth tech-savy reviews already posted for this little machine, so I will be to the point and brief.
It is worth every penny. It is fast, quiet, efficient, and the battery gives me an average of 6 to 7 hours before I have to plug in. This is perfect for me. You can get more like 9 or 10 hours if you are just doing some light web surfing and email type stuff. I use this netbook for web surfing (install Firefox on this netbook) and managing my itunes. Surprisingly it even handles my netflix movies with no problems! What a great little movie player it has turned out to be! AND…it even runs one of my favorite online games near perfectly. and it is a full 3D game called Wizards101. It finds and auto connects to any WIFI with no problems at all. I take this netbook to work and have it with me on my desk next to my work computer. Its so small and good looking and it gets me into some of the websites that I may not want work to know im browsing…like Amazon haha! So yeah…im pretty darn impressed with the capabilities of this netbook. I did upgrade the RAM to 2GB before I ever turned the netbook on so I couldnt tell you how it works on the standard 1GB. So for me it is a great netbook. it has totally replaced my big heavy laptop and with such a huge memory this liitle netbook can grow with me. And heck, its so inexpensive that I could just upgrade to a new one every year if I really wanted to haha ;) Great for the internet. email. certain games, even 3D…although its not going to run a lot of them too well. for my game its just fine! great for managing your iTunes and updating your iPhone. Watch all your Netflix movies with no problems. Windows 7 is a breeze and user friendly. Store all your photos, music and videos on a seperate hard drive if you want because it come with 2 HUGE storage drives. Its light and the screen is not a glossy high reflective fingerprint magnet which is great! Anyway, I love this netbook, and Im so happy i found it! I will buy another one when they come out with one that just blows these specs away. until then, im a satisfied buyer.

With the release of Windows 7 on October 22, 2009 is Microsoft, so that even the most terrible operating system. Windows Vista, which was published in 2006, was good, but it was a nightmare in terms of performance. What worked for Windows Vista disadvantage is that there are significant hardware upgrade for Windows XP users who use the same hardware used for many years, it is necessary, such as gigabit expanded RAM requirements. Like Windows XP published by the instability of Windows ME,Windows 7 is released to fix problems in Windows Vista.

Although Windows Vista requires hardware upgrades, Windows 7 will be comfortable working in teams have in recent years. Asus Eee PC 1005HA-PU17-BU 10.1-Inch Intel Atom Netbook Computer (Royal Blue) Price

This is everything I was told it would be. The only fault I have with it is I am
struggling with the key board. Because I type over 100 words a minute and am use to a full size keyboard, I keep hitting the wrong keys and deleting long emails. I now save them into my draft file every few sentences. I am sure once I get use to it, it
will be fine. The Ansus EEEPC is a great little take me along computer for email, facebook and if you need to write some letters. For home office I do not think it would meet all your needs but this would depend on how big your home business is. I would recommend this to any of my friends and family.
